The club was formed in 1875 when the tradesmen of Esher Cricket Club split from the gentlemen of that club and moved to the common at West End. Cricket has been played on the Green continuously since then, apart from a short break, during the Second World War when the common was dug up for cultivation. Something our Groundsman is convinced that several of our players are still trying to do today!
Mike Bacon is currently negotiating for a top class overseas player for the 2012 season. He has the short list down to 3 possibles and hopes to be able to announce the winner in the next few weeks.

Training nights - Indoor training starts January 19th at Feltham Fleet School from 8.15 pm
Cricket Week Monday July 23rd to Friday July 27th - a game a day - watch this space for more details.
